Black Arts MKE is teaming up with Marcus Center for the Performing Arts for an opportunity to connect with you, our community. Celebrate Mom and support African American arts while enjoying the gospel sounds of talented local artists on Mother's Day in the beautiful Bradley Pavilion. 

Show off your best Mother’s Day hat or headpiece for Mother’s Day Gospel Brunch! Celebrate your Mom by treating her to a sumptuous brunch and Gospel favorites such as “Hold To God’s Unchanging Hand”, “The Battle Is Not Yours, It’s The Lords”, “Peace in the Mist of the Storm”, “I’m Gonna Be Ready” and more! 

Our Producing Artistic Director for the event is Azeeza Islam. Featuring Musical Director, Marcus Gibbons on Drums, Choir Director/Vocal Leader, Cheyney McCree, Craig Tate on bass and Van Patterson on guitar and keyboard. 

Our “after church” Gospel brunch menu will include farm fresh eggs, smoked bacon & sausage, fruits and salads, breakfast pastries, multiple vegetable options, carved roasted sirloin & smoked Virginia ham, an assortment of delicious petite desserts and more! Coffee, iced tea and lemonade is included. 

The entire event will be held in the Bradley Pavilion at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets include brunch and show – Adult tickets $55 per person and $45 per child (12 and under.) Mother’s Day Gospel Brunch tickets will be available for purchase through Thursday, May 11, 2017. Tickets will not be available for purchase after this date. 

Seating is not reserved. Groups will be seated together based on party size (must arrive together to be seated together.) Based on space availability.

Mother’s Day Gospel Brunch is presented by Marcus Center for the Performing Arts and Black Arts MKE.
