Job Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):

 Training of front-of-house volunteers on a per-show basis
             o Tickettaking
             o Commonly asked questions
             o Clean up responsibilities (programs, trash, cans, bottles, etc.), placing items left behind in Lost & Found
 Identifying special seating needs and making necessary accommodations prior to house opening; identifying two (2) house seats for each performance (to be released at 15 minutes to curtain)
 Working in conjunction with Box Office and Stage Management for opening house and timely start to performances including delivery of ticket stubs regularly to box office prior to show start
 Reporting pertinent information to Stage Manager for inclusion in performance reports (who volunteers are, how they did, number of patrons at show start, etc.)
 Assisting patrons with problems including, but not limited to: seating, medical emergencies, answering questions, etc.
 Placement of outside signs at front door and corner of 10th and Wisconsin before every performance and before the end of the show, along with smoker
 Assistance in cleaning of lobby and theatre pre and/or post show
 Assistance at box office window as needed
 Assistance at bar/concessions if needed
 Assistance with opening night and New Year’s Eve receptions
 Other duties as assigned


1. Ideal candidate will exhibit resourcefulness, enthusiasm and appreciation of theatrical performance
2. Ideal candidate will have supervisory, customer service, volunteer coordination, and house management experience.
3. The ability to work well with others
4. Excellent skills in prioritizing
5. The ability to problem-solve with minimum supervision
6. Ability to interact with patrons, volunteers and interns in person and via phone
7. Candidate will possess a high level of reliability, attention to detail, and demeanor when working with the general public, actors and staff
8. The ability to lift up to 50 lbs and long periods of standing/walking 9. Nights and weekends required 10. Candidate must be 18 years of age or older with reliable transportation

Job Specifications:
 $30 per show for an average of three (3) hours per performance
 Dinner provided on two-show Saturdays when House Manager works both shows
 Candidate must be CPR Certified (In Tandem will provide training if necessary)
 Candidate must have a Responsible Server Certificate (In Tandem will provide training if necessary)
 No benefits or paid vacation/holiday/sick time
