Forward Theater Company Non-Equity Auditions
Sign-up for appointments will begin on June 27. A link to an online scheduler will be posted at forwardtheater.com at that time. Appointments will only be arranged through the website. If you know that you will not be available to audition on either date, but would still like to be considered, please send your headshot and resume to kmoeller@forwardtheater.com. Unfortunately, we are unable to schedule alternate audition times.
Auditions for THE MUSIC MAN JR.
All students must audition to be cast in any of the summer workshops. Students cast will be placed by directors based on skill level, ages, roles available and actor availability. Actors must be available for ALL TECH (the week before performances) and performance dates to be cast.
Auditions for A.C.T. BROADWAY BOUND (ages 12 - 18)
Broadway Bound is a one-week musical theatre intensive! A cast of 10-15 will produce four snapshots from Broadway musicals, giving each student the opportunity to play both lead and ensemble roles.
Auditions for THE MUSIC MAN
Prepare 32 bars of a song similar to the show and bring sheet music in your key. Auditioners should be prepared to stay one hour, and read from the script.
Auditions for WEDDING BELLES
Four garden-club ladies meet a young girl who has come to their little Texas town to marry an infantryman before he ships off for World War II. The women impulsively decide to throw the girl an elaborate wedding, and their lives and friendships are thrown into turmoil as they race to accomplish the nuptials in one frenzied afternoon.

For the audition, please prepare a contemporary monologue under 3 minutes and if you would like to be considered for singing roles, additionally prepare 16 bars of a musical theater piece or Christmas carol to be sung a cappella that shows off your vocal range.
