Your Regional Guide To The Performing Arts

Black Ensemble Theater

THE 6th ANNUAL SOUL OF A POWERFUL WOMAN is a performance to help raise funds for the Black Ensemble Theater to support our mission of eradicating racism through the theater arts.  Co-created by Jackie Taylor, CEO and Executive Director of the Black Ensemble Theater and Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky, Soul Of A Powerful Woman has become a premier annual event having raised more than $300,000 to support Black Ensemble Theater programs including our Educational Outreach programs impacting thousands of underserved youth each year.

Our performers give their time and financial support because they want to do their part in making our vision of a world without racism a reality. It’s amazing to see these powerful women in politics, business and entertainment take the stage to act, sing and dance. Their performance is uplifting, inspirational, motivational and not to be missed. Everyone, men and women will have a joyful and celebratory experience at Soul Of A Powerful Woman!

We hope you will join us! Purchase your tickets today or become an Honorary Committee Member and have your name listed in the program, on the invitation and on our website as a sponsor of this historical event. We promise you a great performance and a one of a kind networking opportunity.
