The mission is to produce and present various forms of musical theater from a variety of world traditions; to engage the community through outreach and educational programs; and to train artists in musical theater.
History:
MUSIC THEATER WORKS is a resident professional not-for-profit music theater in Evanston, Illinois, founded in 1980.
Season and Productions:
In its 34 seasons, MUSIC THEATER WORKS has presented more than 100 productions on its 1,000-seat Mainstage, 250-seat Second Stage and 450 seat Concert Stage venues.
