On Saturday, January 21, 2017, seven high school jazz ensembles will present a free concert at 7:00 p.m.

The concert will feature the artistry of Chris Vadala, former featured saxophonist with Chuck Mangione and currently head of Jazz Studies and saxophone professor at the University of Maryland.

High schools participating in the 2017 Jazz Festival are Fox Valley Lutheran, Kettle Moraine Lutheran, Lakeside Lutheran, St. Croix (Minnesota) Lutheran, Waukesha South, Wisconsin Academy of Music, and Wisconsin Lutheran. The high school ensembles will participate in performance clinics and master classes, with professional musicians serving as clinicians.

The concert will take place in Wisconsin Lutheran College's Center for Arts and Performance - Schwan Concert Hall, 8815 W. Wisconsin Avenue. Call the Box Office at 414.443.8802 to reserve free general admission tickets.
